1 B'DAY BASH; 4 BIRTHDAYS!

C++ is NOT difficult, it is complicating. Focus and understanding are very CRUCIAL for this subject. I know very well that I cannot play, daydream or sleep in the class or else, I will end up failing the subject. This is when will power comes to place, I have to constantly remind myself to remain focused in the class eventhough I struggle to do so. I am trying, though.
By the way, we had a huge birthday celebration at Asiaria yesterday and it was a BLAST! In fact, it was the MOST awesome-est  and terrific birthday celebration that we have ever had together as ADPF-ians. There were more than 50 of us and we certainly conquered the shop. Hot stuff. We celebrated four people's birthday ; Mini, Tian Kang, Gajen and Zhi Yu. Although we had three separate combined tables, it was so much fun as everyone was walking around and chilling out with each other. Suresh bought moist choc cake from secret recipe and the four of the birthday 'babies' cut the cake together. Sweet. I totally enjoyed the night, simply because I missed hanging out with everyone ever since Summer sem since my class is kind of secluded from the rest and our timings are not the same. We have only one class per day. So, its been a while since we actually hung out together as a big group. We ate, we talked, we laughed, we cut the cake, we took pictures and we had FUN! Credits to Suresh, and fellow ADFP-ians who were present. Simple things that make life great. =) We should do that more often.

New room SUX. Hooray to the BLUES!

Here I am, in the so-called new room, room 101 block 1. The new room which was in a terrible mess when we first stepped in earlier today. Floor was horrifyingly dirty, walls were disgusting, thick black dust being spotted everwhere and the TILES, so hideous! All made us go..eeeew! Me and Marie refused to clean up at the first sight of our room last night, thus we tried so hard to look up for a cleaner to do the job. We googled up cleaning services in Shah Alam and tried to call so many service providers but most of them did not answer the call. Perhaps, they were off guard, it's a Sunday! Soon, we grew tired of calling as we were failing miserably. We decided, we were going to clean up the gross all by ourselves , with our own hands along with Syira and Aina. Off we headed to Mydin to pick up all the stuffs needed to scrub off all the dirt from the room! It took us 3 freaking hours to do the cleaning, but we were so proud of ourselves that we managed to clean up the room without any external help. The room is now CLEAN, yet it still looks dirty because of the TILES! Damn! I just hate the tiles. Washroom sux, I do not even know why there is a sink just infront of the shower. It makes it hard for us to bathe, I do not even know how I am going to wash my clothes! Others are fine, especially ventilation as there are more windows in this room, making  it cooler compared to the previous one. Oh yea, and one more thing, this 'NEW' room is on the first floor itself. ;) To be honest, I do not really like this room but I am so looking forward to getting accustomed to it. I just cant wait for that. God, please hear my prayers.
By the way, Chelsea WON the Barclays after defeating Wigan 8-0, grabbing the cup away from MU which was second in the table with a difference of 1 point just before the  match. I am so HAPPY and thrilled. Way to go, Chelsea!

RESULTS are out!

I saw Rohan's msn status saying that he screwed up his biology and critical thinking! I was a little scared as I was guessing that the results for spring is out, yet I immediately signed in to SOS in intec's webpage to check my results! I do not even know what to say and how to feel about my finals results. Should I be happy and grateful? or should I be dissapointed? I do not know, because I guess my results are okay but my gpa for fall's is way much better than my spring's. Come to think of it, spring has been tough and I should actually be proud of myself to be able to have achieve 3.51! Come on, I did not fail my calculus, I got a B- for CAL1 and B+ for both SPEECH COMMUNICATION and CRITICAL THINKNIG! A- for AVDANCED COMPOSITION, BIOLOGY, and AMERICAN CULTURE STUDIES and the one and only A for ETHICS. Not so bad eh? Yeap, it isnt since the grading system for ADFP is pretty strict (only 90 and above is considered A, and A- is between 90 to 92).  In fact, I had it balanced between my studies, extracuricullar activies and fun time as I was pretty much involved in quite a number of events and activites when some students were working so hard on their assignments and studying 24/7. I remember how frustrating it was being in Chicago and surrounded by all the hardworking and brainy-act kids. It was so much pressure, especially in Calculus class when I could NOT understand a single thing on the board while others (not all) understood them very well and could score 90 and above for their tests! I constantly told Aje that I felt so stupid in Calculus class as he was my only companion in the class who was not a nerd. I almost gave up on Calculus, yet I did not!  I gues we did not! So, I am trying to smile thinking about it now ;) I got to give it my BEST for C++ this sem to bring up my CGPA!

Hello SUMMER?

The most hectic, yet FUN Spring sem came to an end about a week ago and now, it's Summer semester already! In retrospect, I actually cannot believe that its been eight months since I came to INTEC, and I feel as if it was only yesterday I set my foot here in INTEC. Undoubtedly, it has been one of the most significant moments of my life as I went through alot and at the same time, I took them as lessons well-learnt and I became more mature along the way. I'm truly proud of myself ;) Well, today did not go as well as I expected  as I was one of the biotech students who were in complete confusion about our classes. Our names appeared in both Alabama (psychology) and Eugene (C++), but everything was sorted out really quickly after meeting Pn.Sue in person. We are officially Eugene-ians this semester. Great! I'm not sure if Im going to enjoy my classes because I preferred psycology to C++ and I am not really fond of computer programming. Nevertheless, some of my friends who took the subject last sem said it is an interesting subject. Really? Wybee told me it's fun. I am sceptical though, but I know I should not misjudge the subject just because I am not a software-person. I hope I'll come to love it and ace the subject....;) Other than that, eveything else seemed perfect since I only have four classes every week( Mon-Thur) and it starts at 10 everyday which means I can sleeeeeep longer in the morning and I do not have to drag myself from the bed early in the morning like I used to. Even better, my lecturer is attending course this week and we are having another extra week of holiday! What a great way to start summer sem! I am going back home tomorrow and I am so looking forward to seeing my friends, especially Sindu and Yashi after what seemed like ages! Cannot wait! In the mean time, I am hoping that summer sem will turn out to be really fun and enjoyable despite the fact that we only have one subject this sem. More free time means more time to be spent relaxing, sleeping and hanging out with friends! More time to be wasted but, I heard there will be alot of activities organized during Summer to keep us occupied. Well, we will see!
