It's time for Springggg!

Spring is here, but it's still cold and super windyyyy outside I can hear it from my room. Let's just hope the weather will get better, and days will get warmer soon. We lost an hour last night due to day light's saving. And worse of all, spring break is OVER and I seriously dread at the thought of going back to campus tomorrow. I ain't ready for that, I am not, simply because I loved my break so much. Even though it was just a week, I had a good time during the entire week. Well, I don't know, there are 7 more weeks to go until the end of the semester and I'm just hoping it'll be smooth sailing, even though I know it won't be! I barely got a rest during the winter break back in December because it was pretty short! We had only 2 weeks of break when my friends from other unis had up to 4 weeks of break. I was basically touring west coast the entire 2 weeks, and was really exhausted when I got back home just two days before Spring semester started. Nevertheless, it was so fun touring so many places I have always dreamed of going such as Vegas, LA, San Francisco, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Disneyland, Universal Studio, Hollywood and many more. I'm hoping I can go somewhere during summer since I'm not going back home!

The first half of Spring has been good, I'm definitely more relaxed this sem, and my schedule is less packed/hectic compared to last sem but I'm still busy every single day I don't know why. I always have stuffs to do, sorority commitment, M'sian night rehearsals, homework, assignments, exams, LAB REPORTS!!! Gosh! But that's fine, I'm a student after all and I'd rather be busy than being bored and unproductive. Let's talk about the first half of Spring!

First of all, it's THON! Those of you out there who don't know what THON is, you guys should really google it up and read up about it. It's the largest student-run philanthropy in the WORLD by my lovely school, Penn State. It's a year-long effort aimed to raise fund and awareness against pediatric cancer. We raised over 12 million this year and have raised 100 million since 1977! That's a huge amount of money, job well done Penn State! This year's theme was 'Inspire Tomorrow Miracle" and I was so GLAD to be a part of this amazinggggg effort in conquering pediatric cancer and work towards providing support and inspiration for the kids. That's what being a Penn Stater is all about, it's more than meets the eyes. It's something very deep, emotional and significant, and it can only be understood by being a part of it. It's the pride, the effort and the perseverance that unite us all under one cause to make this world a better place to live, and I couldn't have been more proud to be a Penn Stater!

Apart from that, I went snow-tubing with my Sigma sisters last month. Being a first-timer, I actually enjoyed it so much even though it was a little scary due to the slippery, icy condition.Nevertheless, it was so fun and thrilling! Next on the list, skiing and snowboarding! I need to try skiing and snowboarding before I graduate next year! Well, Valentine's day this year was fine, nothing special. Oh wait, there is actually, I got pink streaks on my hair. YES, I finally did it after dreaming of doing it since ages ago!

Well, you know what is the highlight of my semester so far? It's the Tiesto's club life college invasion tour featuring Tiesto, Alvaro, Quintino and Tommy Trash! I KNOWWW RIGHT! It was effin' awesome, and Tiesto was the BOMB! I truly enjoyed Alvaro, Quintino and Tommy Trash as well, they were all AMAZING! I was tirelessly dancing for the entire 5 hours even tough I was sick and guess what, I had so much funnnn! I would so do it again! Who wanna go to Ultra Music Festival in Miami with me next year and rave on and on and on like there's no tomorrow? :)
